What a great day in #Fall River for Free Fun Friday at Battleship Cove. The Highland Foundation was kind enough and help sponsor this great event that brought thousands of people through out New England to see what Fall River has to offer. I was lucky enough to be an ambassador aboard one of the trolleys transporting visitors to different areas along the downtown.

As we across this great nation raise our American flags, march in different parades and gather with friends and families at barbecues to celebrate our Independence Day, we honor those who fought for and declared our independence 238 years ago, as well as the brave military men and women who continue to protect our freedoms and liberties by serving overseas. We must always remember that our freedom is not really free. Please remember that these brave men and women who have selflessly put their lives on the line to ensure our safety and security. We should be forever grateful to them and pray for their safe return home to their families. Please be safe this Fourth of July! #fourthofjuly #usa #godblessamerica #julyfourth
Saturday I had an opportunity to support Miss Fall River, Devon Williams at the Eagle Event Center by attending a fundraiser event she hosted for the CMN –An Evening with Miss Fall River: Benefit for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals #communityevent
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of Lt. Ed Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy of the Boston Fire Department as they face this terrible loss. Also my condolences go out to the men, women of the BFD as well as to each and every person who on a daily basis run into harms way when others are fleeing. Thank you for all you do! #BostonStrong
Tuesday night was my first council meeting, I would first like to thank my fellow colleagues, my family who has always been by my side, my friends for your continued encouragement to make Fall River a better community, and of course the 5,003 voters who got me elected. I’m really looking forward to the next two years as we continue to make Fall River, Massachusetts a better community in which we can live and work in. Thank You!
